Following the announcement in November 2019 that the first MG115 project had been signed, Cantiere delle Marche (CdM), the Italian superyacht manufacturer, has announced the sale of the second MG115 unit.
“A keen diver and explorer by nature, her Asian owner admires the unparalleled quality and reliability CdM delivers and our capability to be always at the forefront in the explorer vessels segment for design ingenuity and elegance, as well as ingrained quality, unrivalled construction and technical equipment,” says Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and sales & marketing director of CdM.
Both the MG115’s exterior and interior designs were created by Francesco Paszkowski, who has penned the entire MG range. All models in the MG line share similar stylings that are characterised by the bold, masculine lines that have become associated with vessels that fall under the ‘explorer’ designation.
Spread across four decks, the CdM team claims that “in just 35m you find the amenities and equipment of a much larger yacht”. The design comprises four lower deck suites and a master stateroom on the main deck forward. In total the vessel berths 10 guests, to be serviced by six crew. In keeping with contemporary trends, a special focus has been put on large windows, natural light, outdoor areas and proximity to the ocean. However, only limited details are available at this stage.
“The most experienced owners all over the world are aware that CdM offers the best of Italian Style coupled to the best Northern European quality. Over the years, we have worked hard on many fronts and we have fully reached the goal we had envisaged 10 years ago. I am proud to say that after all our efforts, our commercial success and our reputation is second to none,” explains Bruno Piantini, general manager at CdM.
The announcement of the sale of the second MG115 follows a busy 2019 for CdM, which saw the yard open a new dock in Ancona, introduce its new pre-owned sales department, deliver two vessels and announce the sale of a number of projects. The shipyard currently has four projects due for delivery in 2020, with another four scheduled for delivery in 2021.
